Quick & Easy Eats: Easy Cheesy Garlic Bread

I have to make garlic bread anytime I have pizza! I recently added cheese to my usual recipe and I love it. This is a simple recipe to have on hand whenever you want a cheesy, garlicky snack, or with your favorite vegan pizza.

Prep Time: 5 minutes


Cook Time: 10 - 15 minutes


Servings: 3-4 people




What You'll Need


  • 8 oz of vegan pizza dough

  • 4 oz of vegan cheese (more if needed)

  • 2 teaspoons of garlic powder

  • 2 teaspoons of oregano

  • Salt to taste


Cooking Instructions


  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees. Prepare your vegan cheese by placing it in a food processor and pulsing until it's super fine (almost like a powder). Set aside.

  2. Melt your vegan butter.

  3. Combine butter, garlic powder, oregano, and salt in a small bowl.

  4. Roll out your pizza dough, and coat with the melted butter and seasoning mixture.

  5. Add your vegan cheese on top of the dough.

  6. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until your bread is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.

  7. Best served immediately.

Tips!


  1. You can use a mixture of finely processed vegan cheese and shredded for added texture.

  2. I would suggest storing the garlic bread in the freezer unless you plan to eat it over 1-2 days. It will keep in the fridge but only for a few days.

  3. You can also use fresh garlic but you would need to mince it pretty finely.
